Kris works for the National Park Service at Yosemite National Park in California.
We made the move to Yosemite this past spring. We have been enjoying exploring The Sierra Nevada high country and a new area. The wildfires as of late definitely provide some excitement and a lot of work for Kris. I am splitting time between Nevada and California as I look for work in our new area. We are looking forward to backpacking trips, skiing, and getting out with our dogs as much as possible. We love to travel and a few of my immediate goals and hobbies include restoring a classic VW van, roasting perfect coffee, catching trout in the river behind our home, and brewing beer. We had a family event in may and my brother Dan got married in june…with those trips I unfortunately can’t plan for another trip to Iowa I hope that he reunion goes well and is a great way for folks to catch up.
